Jeff has traveled extensively most of his life, living in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afganistan, and Bali. He lived in Bali for 12 winters and traveled throughout Indonesia. He has always been fascinated with different cultures and their cuisines. He even ran an Indonesian restaurant, Lotus Cafe and Guest House, in Provincetown on Cape Cod. He incorporates exotic foods and spices from other countries into a healthy diet. Once a vegetarian, he is now an almost-vegetarian, avoiding red meat and pork. He has successfully incorporated all of the above alternatives into his family's diet. He has a backyard garden where he grows most of his herbs and vegetables.
